Event Description

Introducing NPR's new live interview series in Studio One! Audie Cornish, host of All Things Considered, sits down with creatives for intimate, long-form conversations about their projects and process, how they stay inspired, and what it means to be creating work in conversation with American culture in 2018. First up: jazz musician Gregory Porter. The conversation will be followed by a short performance. After the show, get the chance to meet Audie and new friends over a drink in NPR's lobby.
6:00pm / Doors - Drinks for purchase at the bar and stop by the NPR shop for a free gift
7:00pm / Show begins
8:30pm / Grab a drink from our bar, hang out with Audie, and meet new friends
Support for this event comes from Fracture, a photo décor company that wants to change the way the world prints and displays its photos. Instead of printing on paper, images are printed directly on glass and assembled into a frameless, ready-to-hang product. Each order is made by hand in a carbon neutral factory at its Gainesville headquarters, and delivered in environmentally friendly packaging.
